Summary

The anime is still better, but the writing and the artwork are much better in this volume than they were in the first。

。。。more

I saw a lot of reviews saying that these middle books were a lot of fluff, but I think this one in particular was great because you start seeing them unpack all their trauma。 Yuki seems to finally break through and realize he is amazing, Tohru starts to see she can share her emotions and not bottle them up, and Kyo starts to see he is worth of a life。 God, I love this series SO MUCH。

As always, I love Fruits Basket。 I've seen the second season of the newest anime and so much of this was a review, but I can imagine being shocked if I'd read this first so I'm hoping to catch up and surpass what's out of the anime before the next season airs。 As always, I love Fruits Basket。 I've seen the second season of the newest anime and so much of this was a review, but I can imagine being shocked if I'd read this first so I'm hoping to catch up and surpass what's out of the anime before the next season airs。 。。。more

There's so much hidden information, it makes you really want to speed through the filler and get to the important bits but it's all intertwined。 There's so much hidden information, it makes you really want to speed through the filler and get to the important bits but it's all intertwined。 。。。more

Man I loved this volume。 I freaking love Akito - they are so bad but you can't help but feel sympathy for them - I can't wait for the end of their arc and what happens next。 I also love Shigure in this - I am not a fan of pervy characters but man。。。 I love that he is secretly planning something and I can't wait to see his plan unfold。 Man I loved this volume。 I freaking love Akito - they are so bad but you can't help but feel sympathy for them - I can't wait for the end of their arc and what happens next。 I also love Shigure in this - I am not a fan of pervy characters but man。。。 I love that he is secretly planning something and I can't wait to see his plan unfold。 。。。more

Akito! Why are you always bringing everyone down? No, really, why? I would like to learn more about the curse at some point。 Sooner rather than later。 And what's Shigure's plan? I'm ready for some answers, but I'm not even half way through the series yet。 Akito! Why are you always bringing everyone down? No, really, why? This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Really enjoying this now that it has completely surpassed the anime。 There was one chapter early on in this book that was included in the anime and that was it。 It was also a chapter about how Saki copes with her powers as a child and then meets Tohru。 I enjoyed the parts with the summer house and seeing how Uo has met a member of the zodiac without knowing。 I really enjoyed the connection they had together。 It will be interesting to see what happens with Akito at the summer house。 I am really s Really enjoying this now that it has completely surpassed the anime。 There was one chapter early on in this book that was included in the anime and that was it。 It was also a chapter about how Saki copes with her powers as a child and then meets Tohru。 I enjoyed the parts with the summer house and seeing how Uo has met a member of the zodiac without knowing。 I really enjoyed the connection they had together。 It will be interesting to see what happens with Akito at the summer house。 I am really starting to realize how much of an asshole he is。 More is revealed about Kyo's father as well who is also an asshole。 。。。more
